Wahl New Barbers Program Calls for Artists

Building on the success of its Wahl Professional Ambassador Initiative, Wahl Clipper Corporation has announced the new Wahl Select Barbers program, which seeks to reward members of the Wahl Professional Ambassador program for brand loyalty, product expertise, social media presence and a desire to educate other stylists. Since inventing the first practical electric hair clipper in 1919, Wahl Clipper Corporation has been a leader in the professional and home grooming category.

“This is an amazing opportunity not only to test out what’s new from Wahl, but to potentially join our outstanding Wahl Education and Artistic Team,” says Aaron Flick, senior marketing associate, professional division, Wahl Clipper Corporation. “We want to build a community, provide more knowledge on Wahl tools and education, and look for artists who are loyal to the Wahl brand. This new tier of the Ambassador Program will take them to the next level.”

Select Barbers will receive one or more new Wahl Professional products each month to test and/or review, receive promotion through Wahl’s social media team and increase their chances of earning a position on the Wahl Education and Artistic Team (W.E.A.T.).

Applicants should be familiar with Wahl Professional tools, maintain a high quality, prolific presence on Instagram and possess a passion for educating other stylists. Current Wahl ambassadors will receive invitations to apply via email, but those who aren’t yet ambassadors can visit to sign up.

Only 10 Wahl Select Barbers will be chosen for the time being. However, Wahl has expressed the possibility of expanding its Select Barbers program in the future. Additionally, the 10 initial spots will reopen once Select Barbers advance to W.E.A.T.

“Selects,” Wahl states, “will be notified of their honor via the Wahl Ambassador program two weeks after their submission is received."
