NY NOW—A Show for Beauty Retailers

NY NOW, the Market for Home, Lifestyle + Gift,

will be held February 3-7, 2018 at New York City’s Javits Convention Center. Of particular interest to beauty retailers, the Personal Care + Wellness section will be located within the Lifestyle

collection on Level 1 of the Convention Center.

“With the turn of the calendar comes a fresh outlook for the year ahead and consumers are often looking for ways to rejuvenate and pamper themselves. Buyers looking for beauty items will find nearly 100 exhibitors to shop from within our dedicated Personal Care + Wellness section,” says vice president and NY NOW director, Randi Mohr. “Here, buyers can explore the most on-trend products in categories such as cosmetics, perfumes, skin care, bath & body care, beauty accessories, hair care, apothecary gifts, well-being lines and more. This year, our exhibitors will be showcasing an increased number of bath bombs, natural and organic products, hand-crafted soaps, aromatherapy and even do-it-yourself body product supplies.”

A full list of the exhibitors showcasing products within the Personal Care + Wellness section can be found here.

In addition to the extraordinary product collections across its Home, Lifestyle + Gift

segments, the show offers educational seminars lead by industry experts, representatives from associations, consumer publications and more.

“No matter the size of your company or number of employees, there are always new things to learn when it comes to running a business, particularly in our industry,” says Mohr.

Topics include marketing on a budget, making connections with the community in your local area and how to boost sales. These sessions will also address how much to buy for your businesses, how to manage on-trend gift items and how to provide your current costumers with loyalty programs. There are also seminars that focus on creating standard operating procedures for a business and learning about consumer patterns.
