Tippy, a new digital tipping solution for spa and salon professionals, has partnered with SalonCentric for a national rollout. Tippy will offer customer-facing terminals (Tippy Pro) and a mobile app (Tippy Mobile App) for service providers to more than 150 salons, with plans to roll out to additional salons throughout the United States.
Tippy’s software empowers service professionals (i.e. stylists and estheticians) to collect tips and deposit them into their personal bank accounts daily. “By significantly reducing the waiting period to receive their hard-earned tips, Tippy brings financial
control back to the service professionals,” said Terry McKim, founder and chief information officer of Tippy. “We are excited to leverage this partnership and introduce this business solution to salons and stylists nationwide.”
The Tippy mobile app is available to both iPhones and Androids.
