MAC & Bumble and Bumble Open Joint Studio

MAC Cosmetics and Bumble and bumble hair care are binding together to create one unique shopping and beauty experience. Called the MAC & Bumble and bumble Makeup and Hair Studio, this marks the first time that both brands, owned by The Estée Lauder Companies, are coming together under one roof in a new store concept. Half of the studio space will be a salon that provides services in hair and cosmetic application, while the other half is a retail store. With no specified sections in the retail portion of the store that divide MAC products from Bumble and bumble products, each brand’s products will be integrated on the wall together. The integration allows customers to think about the entire look they are going for and which products, from hair to makeup, will grant them their desired appearance.

The studio’s services range from a variety of styles and looks, ranging from express, teen, theatrical, and other makeup applications, to blowouts, updos, braids and more for hairstyles. The studio also shares combined services with clever names that cater to a customer's desired look as a whole, such as “Girl's Night Out”, or “Red Carpet Ready”. Multiple hair stations and shampooing chairs occupy one side, while five cosmetic stations fill the other, allowing for express services for customers on either beauty experience.

The studio is located in Dallas’ NorthPark Center in Texas, one of the top five selling spots for both brands. There is no word yet on MAC and Bumble and bumble opening stores in other locations.
