In the aftermath of Hurricane Michael, the Professional Beauty Association (PBA) is seeking your help. The organization is asking for donations to help salon professionals across the storm path who have been forced to leave their homes and businesses.
The PBA Disaster Relief Fund (DRF) assists beauty industry professionals to revive after the losses they encounter from natural disasters. PBA is a non-profit organization and, remarkably, a full 100 percent of the funds raised go directly to those in need. Professionals do not need to be a PBA member to donate or receive aid. The PBA Disaster Relief Fund provides quick cash for short-term, immediate needs such as clothing, food, bills and more for those affected by natural disasters. (However, to ensure PBA can help as many beauty professionals as possible, the Fund does not aid with the long-term rebuilding of salons.)
With still many unfilled applications left to fulfill from Hurricane Florence, it is especially critical for new donations to come in to help Hurricane Michael victims. To donate right now, visit probeauty.org/drf/ or call PBA @ 800.468.2274 x3453.
If you are a salon professional or know any salon professionals affected by Hurricane Michael, visit the application page at probeauty.org.
“Thank you doesn't cover the gratitude felt for your generosity and kindness. I am eternally grateful and so glad I chose to be a part of such an amazing community of people in this lifetime," says Kiera, a past DRF fund recipient.
