PBA Extends Shows Agreement With GES Through 2018

The Professional Beauty Association and Global Experience Specialists, which provides exhibition, event and entertainment experiences, have extended their existing trade-shows agreement.

The International Salon and Spa Expo in Long Beach, California, and Cosmoprof North America in Las Vegas will continue to work with GES through 2018.

"We value our partnership with GES, and we appreciate its passion to introduce new and innovative products to upgrade the look, feel and functionality of our shows," says Eric Z Horn, CMP, the PBA's associate executive director of business development. "GES is truly a strategic partner and plays a key role in the success of our events."

GES president Steve Moster adds, "We have a long and successful partnership with the Professional Beauty Association. We're always looking for ways to provide new, creative designs and products to engage its attendees and keep its shows in the forefront of the beauty industry."

CES has worked with the PBA to upgrade the look and the feel of Cosmoprof North America. Its new design includes modern lines throughout the show and sustainable LED lighting.

The PBA and its exhibitors will also benefit from GES' technology—including GES Connect, a fully integrated, online planning tool for event organizers, and Expresso, which combines the art of a customized show experience with the science of exhibitor surveys and usage data.

In addition, the PBA will have the opportunity to contribute to other innovative tools currently in development.
