For the 70th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards telecast, Best Supporting Actress nominee Adina Porter donned a regal look that was inspired by the Egyptian queen Nefertiti. The look was achieved by celebrity hairstylist Tym Wallace (@tymwallacehair) using the FHI Heat Platform Nano Salon Pro 2000 hair dryer and the FHI Heat Platform 3/4" curling iron.
"I first shampooed and conditioned the hair. Next I applied a dime-sized amount of heat protector serum and blow dried her hair using the FHI Heat Platform Nano Salon Pro 2000 hair dryer. Next, I used the FHI Heat Platform 3/4” Curling Iron to create texture in her hair. I sectioned the hair into 3 ponytails and wrapped Indique Organic Curl around the ponytails. Then, I used hair spray to set and brushed the hair into a faux hawk. To finish, I created fishtail textured braids and made large Bantu style knots, " explained Wallace.
