Emmy Nominee Adina Porter's Regal Look Achieved Using FHI Heat Tools

For the 70th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards telecast, Best Supporting Actress nominee Adina Porter donned a regal look that was inspired by the Egyptian queen Nefertiti. Thomas Gebhart Joins FHI Heat as New Company COO

Yesterday, it was announced that Thomas Gebhart, formerly of Eurasia Concepts (dba Bio Ionic/Agave Healing Oil), joined California-based Luxury Brands LLC (dba FHI Heat) as chief operating officer.

Gebhart will be responsible for all divisional operations for the manufacturer, which has multiple haircare tools and product brands. He will bring nearly two decades of expertise in the beauty industry to the role and will focus on strategy and development of all brand initiatives including new product development, global sales and distribution and marketing strategy.

Luxury Brands Acquires FHI Heat

Luxury Brands, led by company president and CEO, Michael Dodo, expanded its beauty portfolio late last year with the acquisition of FHI Heat and all of its subsidiary beauty brands, including STYLUS, NEO BOND, Hair Veil and Daily Beauty. With the acquisition, Luxury Brands plans to extend FHI Heat's global brand marketing initiatives, to expand both its wholesale and direct-to-consumer retail distribution channels and to invest in new product research and development, helping to maintain FHI Heat as a category leader of cutting-edge hair innovation and technology.

Note that the 7.1% growth is 18% greater than the overall salon industry’s growth rate of 6% for the same time frame.
