The Professional Beauty Association is now accepting submissions from PBA-member as well as non-member industry distributors for its upcoming 2014 Biennial Survey.

PBA conducts and publishes this one-of-a-kind Distributor Benchmarking Survey on a semi-annual and biennial basis. Distributors use the information collected to help measure their businesses against other similar ones, and many have found it to be a useful tool in making important business decisions.

Results from the Professional Beauty Association's Distributor Benchmarking Survey—a key economic indicator of business trends in the growing independent salon-product distributors arena—are out for the second quarter of 2012 with good news: 84% of respondents reported higher sales with the median increase at 17.5%.

The survey is also reporting that 67% expanded with at least one new line and a majority said they added staff.

"The final report will contain data that can’t be found anywhere else, and the results will be free for participants," says Elizabeth Fantetti, the PBA's membership director. "We are confident that the information will be of great value to those who work in the distribution arena."
