Congressman Sessions Introduces The Safe Cosmetics Modernization Act

U.S. Congressman Pete Sessions (R-Texas) introduced H.R. 4075, The Safe Cosmetics Modernization Act, Nov. 18.

"This legislation reforms and improves the Food and Drug Administration’s ability to streamline and strengthen consumer safety requirements without strangling small businesses in the cosmetic industry with onerous regulations," said Sessions, who is Chairman of the House Rules Committee.

Hair Fairies Opens Its Newest Salon in Dallas

Hair Fairies—the growing network of salons to eliminate head lice—recently opened its newest location in Dallas. The new salon joins those in San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, New York City and Fairfield, Connecticut.

To celebrate its arrival in Dallas, Hair Fairies is offering free in-salon and in-school screenings the entire months of January and February.

In addition, Hair Fairies is donating 5% of revenue from new referrals back to any school recommending in-salon treatments.
