Coty Buys Majority Stake in Kylie Cosmetics for $600 Million

Kylie Jenner, founder of Kylie Cosmetics and Kylie Skin, announced her strategic partnership with Coty in order to expand her existing beauty business into a global powerhouse brand. Under the terms of the agreement, Coty will acquire a 51 percent ownership in the partnership for $600M and Jenner will remain the creative leader. Jenner’s brands are two of the fastest-growing and most-engaged beauty brands on social media due to her high following count (more than 270 million followers across her social channels).

CoverGirl Receives Leaping Bunny Certification by Cruelty Free International

The cruelty-free movement continues its momentum with beauty giant CoverGirl “leaping” on board. Coty, one of the world’s largest beauty companies, has obtained Leaping Bunny certification by Cruelty Free International for CoverGirl. CoverGirl is now announced the largest makeup brand to be certified, marking an extensive, ethical step forward for the beauty industry in ending animal testing for cosmetics.

Sennen Pamich to Lead Coty Professional Beauty North America

Coty has announced the appointment of Sennen Pamich as senior vice president of the company’s Professional Beauty Division in North America.

Pamich will join the North American team at the close of October and report to Sylvie Moreau, president of Coty Professional Beauty. He will be based at the division’s regional headquarters in Calabasas, California.
