New Chief Executive Officer for Cosmetologists Chicago

Cosmetologists Chicago (CC) and America’s Beauty Show (ABS) have announced the appointment of Frank P. Fulco as their new chief executive officer. The CC association represents more than 18,000 salon professionals, including licensed cosmetologists, estheticians and nail technicians, salon owners and cosmetology school owners and student members. It also owns and produces the annual America’s Beauty Show, offering professionals a long-standing commitment to their careers and education.

This week, the beauty industry mourns the loss of JD Beauty and Goody CEO, Jeffrey Davidson, who suddenly and unexpectedly passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2019 surrounded by his family and loved ones.

“On behalf of ACON Investments, the JD Beauty and Goody board of directors, management and over 200 associates, we extend our deepest sympathies to the Davidson family,” stated a press release from JD Beauty/Goody (JDB/Goody) from earlier today.

Tengram Capital Partners Acquires Lime Crime

Stacy Panagakis, the former general manager of Fresh, joins as Lime Crime's new CEO.

Founded in 2008 by beauty entrepreneurs Doe Deere and Mark Dumbelton, color cosmetic brand Lime Crime is known for its whimsical, trend-setting, digitally savvy, cruelty-free and vegan products, which have pioneered such beauty trends as unicorn- and holographic-inspired makeup and vivid hair colors. It was recently announced that the company has been acquired by the private equity firm Tengram Capital Partners.

Jeffrey Davidson Appointed New CEO of JD Beauty/Wet Brush

Effective as of June 1, 2017, the JD Beauty/Wet Brush board of directors recently announced that Jeffrey Davidson will be the company's new chief executive officer. Davidson is well versed in what the role will entail, as he has previously served as a CEO at other reputable companies such as Magic Cinemas, Lindsay Phillips and MB Associates. His resume also boasts a position as a managing partner of Coqui Capital.

Shawn Haynes Appointed CEO of Palladio Beauty Group

Palladio Beauty Group has appointed Shawn Haynes as CEO of the South Florida-based beauty company, which produces color cosmetics enriched with botanicals, vitamins and antioxidants.

Haynes, a seasoned beauty professional with 20 years of experience in the industry, is joining Palladio with expansive knowledge of both corporate and startup brands. His experience includes sales and marketing leadership positions at Maesa Group, e.l.f. Cosmetics and Markwins International.
