Thanks to popular demand, the Beauty Innovation & Design (BeautyID) Awards have extended their deadline for entrants to April 16th, 2018. Entries are accepted from designers, suppliers, agencies and brand manufacturers from small and large companies anywhere in the world.
Recognizing innovation in packaging design and material and product formulation, the BeautyID Awards cover all cosmetic categories from hair to nails, skin, color, personal care, fragrance, sustainability and cosmetic contract manufacturing across professional, prestige and mass market segments.
Winners will be announced on July 30th at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas during the Cosmoprof North America (CPNA) trade show, where a panel of judges will select one winner from each of the eight categories in addition to one Grand Winner. An Audience Choice winner will also be elected through public online voting, which is scheduled to open in early May.
“The inaugural awards last year were an incredible success—with an abundance of creative and innovative submissions from around the world. We look forward to another impressive group of submissions this year,” says Daniela Ciocan, marketing director at CPNA.
BeautyID judges will be looking for user functionality in addition to unique, distinctive product design, regardless of whether a product is responding to an established industry demand or creating its own new trend. “In today’s virtual world, where social media is more impactful than ever, creative package design is critical to success, and our industry is delivering,” says Ciocan. “I’m proud we are able to provide another platform for brands to stand out while simultaneously maintaining our leadership for delivering such programs.”
Winners will receive a custom trophy, exposure through CPNA and Beauty Packaging magazine market channels and prizes provided by CPNA sponsors, which will be announced throughout the course of the event.
