Beautycounter Endorses the Natural Cosmetics Act

Clean beauty cosmetics company Beautycounter continues to push for cleaner manufacturing standards by officially endorsing the Natural Cosmetics Act.

Representatives Sean Patrick Maloney and Grace Meng introduced the bill to Congress in order to set stronger standards to protect consumers and to hold companies accountable for the information displayed on labels. This is the first legislation introduced in the United States that sets regulations for the use of the words "natural" and "naturally derived" on personal care products.

New Chief Operating Officer and Chief Commercial Officer for Beautycounter

Beautycounter continues to strategically build a strong leadership team. Both with global experience, Ana Badell joins as the new chief operating officer and Patty Wu joins as the new chief commercial officer.

Prior to joining the Beautycounter team, Badell led many operational functions, most recently as vice president of store operations and flow for Starbucks. While working there, she also held other global leadership positions. Earlier in her career, Ana served in operations at Walmart and held leadership roles at the Hess Corporation and at BP.
