Goldman Sachs recently recognized Beautycounter founder and CEO Gregg Renfrew at its Builders + Innovators Summit as one of the 100 Most Intriguing Entrepreneurs of 2018. The three-day event was held in Santa Barbara, California. Renfrew founded Beautycounter in 2013 with a mission to bring safe, clean, high-performing and transparent personal care and beauty products to consumers everywhere. In addition to manufacturing products, Beautycounter advocates stronger cosmetic safety laws at a federal level because the laws have remained largely unchanged for the last 80 years.
“On behalf of Beautycounter, I am honored to be recognized for the second year for the work we are doing in the fight for better beauty. I am humbled to stand alongside other entrepreneurs whom I respect greatly and who are working to redefine our respective industries,” Renfrew said. “The growth and progress toward our important missions would never be possible without the support of companies like Goldman Sachs.”
Goldman Sachs had advised and financed entrepreneurs for almost 150 years, helping to launch and grow countless businesses. The annual summit honors 100 entrepreneurs and consists of general sessions and clinics led by academics, resident scholars and business leaders.
