Winter NYIGF Boasts Fashion-Forward Designs
Textile jewelry and stainless-steel wallets are amongst the design-driven wares to be featured at the 2012 New York International Gift Fair, scheduled for Jan. 29 – Feb. 2, 2012, at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City. The winter showcase will feature about 300 exhibitors in its Personal Accessories featuring Details division.
“Products in NYIGF’s Personal Accessories featuring Details division always have reflected current fashion trends,” said Dorothy Belshaw, NYIGF director and GLM senior vice president. “In keeping with NYIGF’s ‘Driven by Design’ orientation, there is an increasing number of design-driven resources presented within this fashion-forward collection of wearables, jewelry, handbags, men’s accessories and travel goods.”
The gift, home and lifestyle marketplace’s assortment of design-oriented exhibitor wares in the Personal Accessories featuring Details division will include boutique wearables, handmade textile jewelry, stainless-steel accessories, scarves, ribbon jewelry, shawls and bags. Studio Manhattan Art + Design will join the division with wearable art featuring the urban photography of Ayhan Kimsesizcan. And stylish, earth-friendly and socially responsible products will be available, such as handcrafted bags benefiting no-kill animal shelters, handbags of discarded materials and eco-friendly jewelry.
