Sephora Americas Promotes Malhotra to EVP of Three Business Units
Sephora Americas recently promoted Satish Malhotra to executive vice president of Latin America, Sephora Canada & Sephora inside jcpenney to lead the three emerging business units. Malhotra joined Sephora in 1999 and has held a variety of leadership positions in finance.
In 2006, Malhotra was appointed vice president and general manager of the newly created Sephora inside jcpenney partnership, and in 2008 became its senior vice president.
Since then, his responsibilities were expanded to include Sephora USA Information Technology, Inventory Management, Logistics and Retail Operations departments.
Currently an inactive Certified Public Accountant, Malhotra served as a transaction services senior associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers prior to joining Sephora.
He has his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from University of California, Berkeley, Walter A. Haas School of Business.
Malhotra is now part of Sephora’s senior operating management team, which reports to David Suliteanu, Sephora Americas president and CEO.
That team also includes:
- Margarita Arriagada, chief merchant
- Julie Bornstein, executive vice president and chief marketing and digital officer
- Mary Herald, executive vice president of human resources and education
- Christie Jack, senior vice president of retail
- Paul Loux, senior vice president of store design
- Alexis Rollier, CFO
Alessandro Bogliolo, who served as COO, left this month for personal reasons. His responsibilities are being assumed by the senior-management team.
