EX•TRACTS at the New York International Gift Fair will take place on Sunday, Jan. 27, through Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, at New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, Level 1. It's one of 10 divisions of the NYIGF, and this winter 2013 edition is now sold out to exhibitors.

Of the multiple personal-care categories to be presented, three are showing notable growth: natural/organic products, perfumes/fragrances and men’s lines.

Cosmoprof North America 2012—scheduled for July 22-24 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas—is hosting a panel of four social-media influentials who will discuss how businesses can handle the communication process between brands and the public, whether positive or negative feedback. NPEW 2012 Sees Record Number of Retailers

The Natural Products Expo West trade show this past Thursday through Sunday saw more than 60,000 industry members and 2,000-plus exhibiting companies—with more than 540 of them being new companies—fill 1 million-plus net square feet at the Anaheim Convention Center in California.
