Sephora Americas has promoted Julie Bornstein to chief marketing and digital officer. Bornstein will continue to assume some of her former duties as senior vice president of Sephora Digital, and take on responsibility for brand and store marketing, public relations and creative, which were formerly led by Sharon Rothstein.

Rothstein is joining Starbucks Coffee Co. as global chief marketing officer over the brand and the company's emerging brands, including Seattle’s Best Coffee, Evolution Fresh, La Boulange, Tazo and Teavana.

Drybar, the blowout-only concept salon with 25 locations now, has launched its first-ever products, which will be sold exclusively at Sephora, QVC and Drybar locations nationwide starting in March. Currently available at http://shop.thedrybar.com, the line was developed by Drybar founder and longtime professional stylist Alli Webb.

"After trying nearly every existing product line," says Webb, "I just couldn't find what we were looking for to meet our very specific styling needs."

CPNA Beauty Retailers Tour Returns

Cosmoprof North America will once again be hosting the Best Beauty Retailers Tour at its upcoming show. The tour, which debuted during CPNA 2011, will take place Saturday, July 21, from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. It precedes the trade show, which will take place July 22-24 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.
