Show organizers and Beauty Store Business are presenting "The U.S. Multicultural/Ethnic Beauty Market: African-American Perspectives" roundtable at CPNA 2013 on Monday, July 15, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. in Bella Conference Room #1 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.

City of Hope’s National Professional Salon Industry has selected Reuben Carranza—North American CEO of Wella, the Salon Professional Division of P&G—as its 2013 Spirit of Life Award honoree.

Three New Distributors Join PBA Council

Three New Distributors Join Professional Beauty Association Leadership Council

Karl Sweis of Torrance, California-based Sweis Inc., Brandon Ranney of Pine Brook, New Jersey-based Creative Salon Concepts and Paul Gauvin of Fitchburg, Massachusetts-based WS Beauty Supply are newly elected members of the Professional Beauty Association's Distributor Leadership Council. They join Renee Shakour of Holliston, Massachusetts-based Essential Salon Products, who was re-elected.

All are serving as volunteers between Sept. 1, 2012, through Aug. 31, 2014.
