Custom-wig designer Flora Shepelsky has opened her third Design By Flora brick-and-mortar retail site and the first on the West Coast. Shepelsky has teamed up with Sherel’s Hats in a combination high-end wig and hat boutique at 300 S. La Brea Ave. in Los Angeles.

Design By Flora is offering its top-quality wigs, falls and toppers for a wide spectrum of clientele, and is also debuting its line of luxury clip-in hair extensions starting at $400.

The LOOK Boutique offers prestige and niche cosmetic, skincare and haircare brands not typically found in drugstores. It includes the popular British skincare brand No7—created by international health and beauty retailer Boots, a division of Alliance Boots, the multinational pharmacy-led health and beauty group. The brand is known for its antiaging beauty serum—and is available in a Walgreens store for the first time.

Nationwide drugstore-chain Walgreens recently opened its 8,000th store—also its West Coast flagship store—at the iconic corner of Sunset Boulevard and Vine Street in Los Angeles.

The location features the drugstore giant’s LOOK Boutique beauty department (pictured) in addition to other unexpected amenities for a drugstore, such as a café with a barista, a juice and smoothie bar, fresh foods and an extensive fine-wine offering.
