Since May 1, there has been a new president of The Kirschner Group: Jane Caris. Caris has replaced Harlan Kirschner, who is now CEO of the professional-beauty global sales and merchandising organization.

“Jane has been with our organization for more than four years,” says Kirschner. “During this time, she has done an excellent job of taking over the responsibility of our day-to-day operations. This shift in duties has allowed me to become more strategic, forward-thinking and big-picture focused in my role.

Lance Posen—who has been in the beauty industry for 35 years with 20 of them as a key executive at The Kirschner Group—will step out of his management role as vice president of international effective Jan. 1, 2013, to spend more time with his family.

Posen (pictured) will remain with TKG as a project manager.

As vice president of international, he has been instrumental in building the international team's infrastructure and business at the manufacturers rep firm.

Exhibit space at the Northeast Beauty Representatives Association's 2012 NEBRA Show has sold out, the show's organizer told Beauty Store Business on Friday.

The annual East Coast manufacturers reps trade show is set for Saturday, March 24, and Sunday, March 25, inside the Sheraton Meadowlands Hotel & Conference Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey, just outside of New York City.
